AICE Media Studies Project

I believe the film will be the best for me because of my love for story line, and my experience from directing class. My determining factors for this project are my love for writing, and my dislike for typing long paragraphs describing things. I will be using the opening scene from the book I am writing, the lights will flicker and shut off along with the active board, the camera will pan around showing the class's reactions before introducing the main group. I would categorize, it as a science fiction or fantasy. I will do a voice over of the scene hopefully ending with a scene near the end of a  mature main character and husband fighting for their kids. I hope to find a group that will work with me though if not I'll work on my own. I hope to find someone who is decent at editing, someone who can film, and possibly someone with connections to people to act in it.

I think the film project would be a god fit for me because I have always enjoyed writing, whether it be scripts or stories. For this project I am thinking I could take a story line that I've been working on for about a year and a half. Taking the opening section for this project to finally start to see my story come to life. I find that this project will be interesting to me, so I will do my best to make sure it will be the best I can do. The parts I may find challenging are the editing and casting parts. Though I pick up things with technology easily. In the long run I think my directing class and this project would go hand in hand teaching me things for the other. So I will be better off in the long run for both. 

I think the Magazine project would be good for me because I took all three levels of photo class, so I am decent at taking photos. Overall the picture taking aspect of the project would be easy for me. I also have good interpersonal skills so interviewing others won't be a difficult task. So overall I believe this task would be fairly easy for me. Though I would end up finding challenging is the long typing sections difficult because I am not fast at typing, making those processes long and irritating. This overall would be a decent project but, I don't personally like magazines, so my interest in the project would not be very much, making the project not turn out the best it could be.
